Moon River

Moon River was made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, in which she played the part of New York socialite Holly Golightly. This project consists in a translocation of the scene from the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s to the environment of Blade Runner.

During the project, the footage was recorded in front of a green screen to be later combined with settings created in 3D. The design of costume and props were necessary to enhance the realistic aspect of the final video. The more physical objects the subjects had at his and her disposal, the more immersive the environment of the story. I made sure not to use green in any of the pieces, but also to avoid shiny or metallic props, as they may reflect the color of the screen. I created a wardrobe for the characters that complemented the background thew crew later imposed onto the green screen, making sure they work well with all the angles and shots.
